SOL-0090 Retarder: To improve flow and leveling or to
assist with coalescing at lower temperatures,
use SOL-0090 at levels not to exceed 4% by
volume (5 oz per gallon). Maximum VOC when
adding retarder as specified is < 275 grams per
liter.
SOL-0090 is used specifically for increasing the open time of waterborne coatings. In hot weather or adverse conditions (such as
areas of high heat or air flow), it will improve flow and leveling properties in coatings, and increase the open time and workability of
wiping stains and glazes.
